BLP keeps the pace slowly building for the first 160 pages, building the characters and the world. After that, you’d better be strapped in tight until the end of book one!
The technology is grounded in the near future. The ASHUR and various mech suits are great, one pic included!
The enemy hit me like Invid of #Robotech, Arachnids of #StarshipTroopers, and #Aliens. Very interesting conflict between technologies.
If you like the #Battletech novelizations, you will feel at home. Since BLP authored both, the comparison will be made. However, having read both, this is not BT and brings a fresh world.
Probably deserves a video and better job than me, but wanted to get my review out.
The second book of the series drops in a few days and I will be on board.
Sometimes #Lego knocks it out of the park! This Galaxy Explorer is a near-perfect design.
